I had, as an 18 years old, written this sonnet wherein I used a different meter system than usual. However when shown to my English lecturer , he advised me to write and improve my prose instead of trying to write poems.
~ Sonnet of a winter morn! ~
Look over the Margosa, the newly born sun in heaven
How much he looks happy and gay!
The singing peasant with his hale and hearty oxen
Is going on his usual way.
Pair of sparrows on the mango tree in the chilly weather
Is sweetly twittering as ever.
How smoothly with its constant spontaneous flow
Is flowing Saryu ,the pious river.
Like a dancing maid Eucliptus marvellously swings.
Awake dear ,participate in the mirth of natural beauty!
All these are committed to their daily routines
With punctuality and dedication for duty.
Come darling! In learning a lesson, there is no infidelity
Enjoy the nature that is the Almighty ! - Sanjay Tripathi
